Tips for Joining the FSC in the Round:
The Foundation Single Crochet needs to be secured in 2 places when joining it into the round. The bottom edge of the FSC is joined first, and then the top edge of the FSC is joined second.
Step 1:
Begin just as you would for a regular Foundation Single Crochet stitch. Insert the hook into the first stitch from the hook.
Yarn Over and pull back through the stitch. There will be 2 loops on the hook at this point.

Chain 1. There will still be 2 loops on the hook at the end of this step.
